  • Beskrivelse: The meeting fo Lithuanian governmental financial delegation - Lithuanian ambassador in USA Jonas Vileišis, Lithuanian war representative in USA Povilas Žadeikis and priest Jonas Žilius - in Chicago on the 15th of February, 1920. The aim of the mission - the recognition of Lithuania de jure and financial support from USA.The group photography - the lithuanian, latvian, estonian and ukrainian representatives, who gave the demands for independence to the Senate of USA in 1919.The members of mission move to the meeting with Chicago authorities and Lithuanian committee. Lithuanian and USA flags, military, orchestra, cars. The hotel "Blackstone", where the members of the mission live. Povilas Žadeikis welcomes Lithuanian soldiers.
